Plus Size Monokini
Have you heard about monokinis?
This may sound new to the ears of some but the truth is it’s been in the market for decades now. Though not as popular as the some other swimsuits, this piece of swimming clothing is very capable of giving you the style and the looks.
For those who have not heard about monokinis, try to visualize two piece bikinis. Deduct the upper garment and you have a monkini. Original design by Rudi Gernreich has a little bit difference with the addition of shoulder straps. Literally, monikinis are topless swimsuits.
The original design was not so popular during those times. It even garnered negative implications. And soon the style was almost forgotten with just a few exemptions for some people. But recent trends gave rise to this piece of clothing. Designers re-arranged and add some things. Instead of a one piece bottom swimwear they added a top portion which is connected to the lower part by a strap, a lace or a metal which also serves as accessory. The result is new wonderfully designed, sexy swimwear bearing the same name.
Monokinis today can be described as one piece swimwear with some alteration that reveals more skin which makes it more sensual just like its predecessors. Indeed, a more attractive look is what you want to achieve when wearing these swimwear. And this does not mean that full figured women are not on the list. Tons of plus size swim wears are out in the market.
Although monokinis show some skin, some dispute that you can’t achieve an even tan because of the design. The resulting effect may look like a road trail map.
Some also are bothered if it can withstand stress when you’re on the water. This is more complicated when you’re wearing a plus size monokini. These issues emerged because of the fact that monokinis only covers a little skin and only a little support is attached to the body.
The perfect solution for this is to use a lesser complicated design. Less complicated means it has more robust parts attached to the body. There’s a lot of design available for monokinis. Other than choosing a lesser complicated designs you can also opt for something that has greater support. The thing here is the design should support your chest and other part you want to be private. Although this will also mean lesser skin exposure, the effects is more practical. You don’t want these swim wears to be left out in the water don’t you? Also look for something that fits right with your body. Properly fitted swim wears together with beautifully patterned colors will surely look stunning when you walk out on the beach.
Comfort can also play a great part since you have to wear it in public. Monokinis are generally designed to give you more freedom of movement. This can give you a lot more comfort when swimming. Uncomfortably designed swimwear can wreck the fun. Not to mention that it can also give a lot of confidence.
